So, my friend was right. It turned out that Doll’s House was an all woman cast. So, I went to the Noel Coward audition. For those of you who don’t know Family Album, think The Importance of Being Ernest meets Waking Ned Divine.
The audition went well. I didn’t need the monologue. She just had us read sides and then gave us bits of direction to see how we reacted. I did well and had fun.
The director kept me around and had me read with a few people. I heard quite a few laughs coming from both the director and the stage manager on my punch lines. So, it looks like I may be getting a call later tonight.
