[Mister Gorbachev, tear down this wall!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tear_down_this_wall!)

Why am I quoting Ronald Reagan? Because I just heard [this story](https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5422692) on NPR about President Bush’s continued call to fence our border with Mexico. I never thought that I would be siding with Reagan on anything, but I maintain that the best way to influence policy and induce reforms is to integrate with our neighbors, not isolate from them.
