# GaSP implements Responsive Web Design

## [GaSP implements Responsive Web Design](https://stevenjaycohen.com/journal/gasp-implements-responsive-web-design)

    23rd Jul 2012 [design](https://stevenjaycohen.com/tag:design#body-wrapper) [gasp](https://stevenjaycohen.com/tag:gasp#body-wrapper) [gwt](https://stevenjaycohen.com/tag:gwt#body-wrapper)

After a bit of a [refactoring](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_refactoring "Code refactoring") frenzy of late, GaSP can now intelligently reformat its content for mobile, tablet, and [desktop computers](https://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/desktops/?cid=us%3Aseo%3AWtjM7L "Lenovo Desktops"). I big thank you goes out to the people behind [PHP Mobile Detect](https://code.google.com/p/php-mobile-detect/) for helping to make it this easy to implement.

Making GaSP mobile-aware lead me to re-examine the available widgets with a touch-based-[UI](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_interface "User interface") in mind. The handlers on all widgets have been re-worked to take a finger-driven-UI into account.

Next on the agenda, re-working the Admin UI 🙂
